Stud Service Testimonials
After the breeding experience I had with Kaleena, I had to write a testimonial to post on her website in
support of her as a breeder. Before I ever met Kaleena, I appreciated her accessibility through her
website, the many pictures she had posted, the rapid responses to all my emails, and the way she seemed
to care so much about her role as a breeder. My family and I went to Rockford before the breeding to
see her dogs, including a current litter. As an Eskimo owner with 3 children in the house, I was looking
for a stud that was well-tempered and friendly as well as physically appealing. All of Kaleena's dogs
were just that. The current litter of puppies were boisterous, friendly, and loved people. Their mother,
Layla, was also very friendly and easy with strangers, and this was her first litter! I know now that it
takes a lot of love, patience, and good breeding to have a mom that is this well-socialized. Stoney was
also very friendly, great with the kids, not to mention a real looker.
After the stud contract was signed, Kaleena was very good about keeping in touch as to when my own
dog was going into heat, and when would be the best time to try breeding. The actual breeding was a bit
scary for Kaya, and Kaleena and her fiance were there to give me and the dog support and make sure
everything went smoothly. Kaleena's entire family was very good about making Kaya feel at home and
well cared for her first time away from her own home.
During the pregnancy, Kaleena again was wonderful about checking on Kaya's progress, letting me
know what to expect, and answering all the questions I had.
The babies finally came, and again Kaleena was right there to offer support. She came to the house (well
over an hour drive) to check on mom and the babes, something I have never heard of a stud owner
doing. She also handled all the registration paperwork, a task that is usually left for the bitches owner.
Thank goodness she did, because she is much more organized than I have ever been. Speaking of
paperwork, Kaleena also allowed me to use her basic puppy contract, rather than doing all the research
and paperwork on my own.
After that first visit, Kaleena then put my puppies on her website, going as far as contacting clients on
her waiting list for my puppies. Again this amazed me, especially since she was receiving no profit from
this service, and possibly taking away from her own future sales. She even periodically updated her
website with my pictures. Kaleena also ordered puppy kits for me, which she delivered personally to the
house at her second visit to Kaya and her puppies.
I have never heard of a breeder as helpful and selfless as Kaleena. In past experiences and others I have
heard of, the stud owner provides stud service, at no inconvenience to themselves, collects the stud fee,
signs the paperwork, and is never heard from again. She made the process so much easier for me,
especially with all of the work it already takes to raise a litter of pups. Not to mention the pups
produced were the sweetest little bundles of joy. I highly recommend Kaleena as a breeder a thousand
times over, and greatly appreciate all she has done for me.
